That’s exactly how I would describe the intimate ceremony I photographed at this beautiful venue. The estate’s European-style architecture, lush gardens, and grand central home set the stage for a wedding day that was equal parts luxurious and romantic.

A Wedding Day That Felt Like a Fairytale
As soon as I pulled up to Hills & Dales Estate, I could feel the magic in the air. The estate is grand yet inviting—imagine a historic mansion straight out of a European countryside dream, with manicured gardens, arched doorways, and an air of sophistication that feels completely effortless.
Capturing Their Love Story at Hills & Dales
Hills and Dales estate offers many beautiful locations for a picturesque first look. We chose a secluded spot in the gardens, where the sunlight filtered through the trees just perfectly. This location provides just the right amount of privacy and quiet to really enjoy seeing your person for the first time on your wedding day! It’s always such an honor to capture the joy between my couples during their first look.
The intimate ceremony took place in the garden courtyard, surrounded by towering boxwoods and elegant stonework that felt like something from an Italian villa.
After the vows and the first kiss, the grounds offered so many perfect locations for sunset portraits. Golden hour at Hills & Dales is something truly special—the way the light bounces off the grand columns and spills over the garden paths creates the most romantic, ethereal glow. You won’t believe you’re in North Georgia!
Some of my favorite shots from the day were taken right on the steps of the estate’s grand entrance, where the couple shared a quiet moment together. The soft laughter, the way they held onto each other, the pure happiness on their faces—it was exactly what wedding photography is all about.

As the sun dipped lower, guests made their way to the candlelit reception. The tables were adorned with beautiful florals, flickering votives, and elegant gold accents—a perfect blend of sophisticated and intimate.
